Former U.S. Secretary of State and current Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton may attend a Nashville fundraiser with country music stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, according to a new report from The Associated Press.
The initial AP report said the fundraiser was set for Sept. 29 and that Clinton would “tap into the network” of Hill and McGraw. That report was changed late Friday to say Clinton “may” attend a Nashville fundraiser. A Clinton spokesman told The Tennessean late Friday that the event is not confirmed.
There are few other details immediately available about a possible event with Hill and McGraw, who live in the Nashville area.
Republican presidential contenders continue to swarm Nashville and Tennessee: GOP front-runner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak in Nashville on Saturday, while Ben Carson, Wisconsin Gov.
