Nashville’s growing list of craft breweries is set to get a new player in early 2016: New Heights Brewing Co.
The brewery, slated for 928 Fifth Ave. S., is the brainchild of Tracey and Jeff Fountain, who are from Alabama and most recently lived in San Diego until relocating to Nashville in January 2014.
Jeff Fountain left his job in the financial services industry to pursue his passion for craft beer. He worked at the award-winning Mission Brewery in San Diego, and he learned from seasoned California brewers through his homebrew connections.
“Six months after getting my homebrew kit, I quit work, my 15-year career, and I was volunteering in breweries until finally I worked my way up to brewing,” Jeff Fountain said.
