You think your child is safe, but your life can change in an instant.
Monday night on News 2 at 10, we have an investigation that, for parents, may be an eye-opener.
News 2 teamed up with Metro police to create a stranger danger scenario involving children at a playground who meet a puppy and a man they don’t know.
What happens next is a stark reminder of how quickly and easily children can be taken.
“She said, ‘Mom, that man wants me to go with him to feed his dog,’” said mother and News 2 producer Karen Brown. “It was scary. It was nerve-wracking. I thought I was doing everything right. Apparently I’m not.”
Metro police share with News 2 the strategy predators will use to target our kids, as well as what we can teach them to keep them out of harm’s way.
