FBI Director James Comey says the Navy reserve facility shootings in Chattanooga were “inspired by terrorist organization propaganda.”
In a statement made at the New York Police Department today, Comey said “We’ve concluded Chattanooga was inspired by a terrorist organization.” Mohammed Abdulazeez killed five servicemen during his rampage in July of this year.
Director Comey was in New York addressing counter terrorism and the threats the United States faces from ISIS, as well as the recent shootings in San Bernardino.
