Legislature Considers New Taxes for Roads

The population in and around Nashville is growing by leaps and bounds. With all of that growth, comes an increase in vehicle traffic and longer rush hour times.

It’s said, in the halls of the Tennessee State Capitol, that this is not a liberal or conservative issue, but instead a traffic issue.

Democrat State Representative, John Ray Clemmons and Republican State Senator Jim Tracy, both who spoke with Fox 17 News today, say something needs to be done about Middle Tennessee’s traffic problem.
