Trouble Brewing Amongst Predators’ Ownership

The Nashville Predators said they are aware of a $250 million lawsuit filed against them by David Freeman, a member of the ownership group.

According to the team, they are reviewing the lawsuit with their lawyers.

Freeman is suing over what he calls a lack of financial information and loan guarantees he says are owed to him.

The team emphasized to News 2 the lawsuit does not affect the operations of the Predators.

Freeman was the leader of the group that bought the organization from Craig Leipold and prevented them from moving to Hamilton, Ontario.

Freeman remains a member of the ownership group, but his stake in the team has been diluted over the years due to missed capital calls, which is money used to help run the Predators.
