Pipeline Leak May Lead to Higher Gas Prices

Auto Club Group and motorist organization AAA reports a partial pipeline closure may temporarily increase prices and put gas in short supply for Tennesseans.

The Colonial pipeline which services much of the east coast has been partially shut down since September 9th after a leak was discovered in Alabama. The pipeline was expected to be fixed and reopened by the weekend, but weather conditions have delayed the fix, meaning tighter supply.
