Crescent Communities LLC has a contract to buy Denver-based real estate investment manager Amstar’s 45-acre tract in Cool Springs.
The deal marks the second time in recent months that site known as Northside at McEwen has been under contract. A previous contract to sell the land to Cincinnati-based North American Properties expired.
Crescent is said to be exploring its options for developing that final tract remaining at the overall 90-acre McEwen mixed-use, master-planned development at Mallory Lane and McEwen Drive, which Amstar co-developed with Franklin-based Southern Land Co. The 45-acre Northside site is entitled for more than 870,000 square feet of commercial space, 580 attached residential units and 150 hotel rooms.
