A new flyer from a Nashville real estate agency succeeded in attracting attention, just not the right kind.
Armstrong Real Estate recently sent out mailers featuring the tagline, “East Nashville. More neighbor than hood.”
As multiple news outlets have reported, the flier has caused a stir on social media, with many calling it a “dog whistle” to attract whites to the area, which has been rapidly gentrifying.
