More questions about a police pursuit that ended up taking the life of a Murfreesboro mother.
Some say Coffee County deputies should have called off the chase, which started over a stolen car.
Authorities said the man stole a car from Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Coffee County deputies chased the man for 30 miles into another county. It ended with a crash and a loss of life.
“It’s crazy,” said Mildred Parker, the victim’s mother. “It’s really crazy.”
Mildred Parker is reeling from the loss of her daughter, Jessica Campos, a woman who leaves behind two young children, including a 7-month-old baby. Campos was the unintended victim of the high-speed chase.
“Well, obviously it wasn’t justified. A young lady lost her life,” Attorney Jack Byrd said.(continue reading)
