These Criminals Keep It All In the Family

A mom and two men were arrested early Sunday morning in Madison after police caught them in the act of a burglary at a Mexican restaurant in the Rivergate area, while a 7-year-old boy was waiting in the car.

According to an affidavit, police were first called out to Tres Margaritas in the 300 block of North Gallatin Pike for a burglary alarm around 2:30 a.m. When they arrived, they noticed someone had forced their way inside and there was cash missing from the register.

A short time later, another burglary alarm was triggered at El Chico in the 900 block of Rivergate Parkway, in front of the RiverGate Mall. That’s where officers found Carlos Larios, Nocho Roman and Fabiola Sanchez, according to affidavits.

Larios was inside the building when officers arrived and Roman was seen walking out of the building, the report stated. Larios noticed police inside the restaurant and reportedly ran. A metro police officer chased him, tackled him and took him into custody. The officer was injured during the arrest, police said, and was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was treated and released. (continue reading at WKRN)
